Cash Runway

Cash Runway estimates how many months your cash and savings would cover if income stopped:

cash and savings balance ÷ monthly expenses

The result depends on assets classified as Cash & savings and the recurring items in Expenses. It is displayed in months.

Emergency Fund Score

Emergency Fund Score maps the same reserve relationship onto 0–100:

  • zero to three months maps from 0 to 70 points;
  • three to six months maps from 70 to 100 points;
  • more than six months remains at 100.

Reaching three months therefore earns most of the available score; the additional three months are treated as an extra buffer.

Cash Runway is an arithmetic scenario, not a claim that every cash account is available for emergencies. Classify restricted or inaccessible holdings appropriately and keep recurring expenses realistic.
